Amadeus Capital SA is pleased to announce that Jacques Marchand and Ygal Sebban have joined its team.

Jacques Marchand is an experienced banker who since the beginning of his career has been in charge of servicing and developing a wealthy private clientele, at first international and then more specifically domiciled in Switzerland.

His 21 years spent in the Private Banking department of UBS have given him an in-depth technical knowledge of all the banking, financial, administrative, legal, tax and inheritance parameters inherent in the administration and management of private family assets, in particular from Swiss industrial and commercial activities; his acute sense of interpersonal skills has enabled him to build up the loyalty of a demanding clientele. He is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva.

At Amadeus, Jacques is responsible for the development of the Private Office & Wealth Management business and is a member of the Executive Committee.

Ygal Sebban is a global macro analyst and portfolio manager with 25 years of experience in the world of hedge funds and long-only funds.

He spent 8 years at Brevan Howard as a Partner and Senior Trader and more recently 2 years at Evooq as Senior Portfolio Manager on natural resources themes and Senior Strategist; prior to that, he spent 4 years at Sucres et Denrées as Macro Portfolio Manager. His track record as a portfolio manager and his numerous publications in these areas make him a respected professional. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Paris-Dauphine as well as a Magistère in Banking, Finance & Insurance.

At Amadeus, Ygal is responsible for managing investment strategies related to the energy transition. He is a member of the Investment Committee, where he acts as an economist and strategist.
