Amadeus is the Family Finlab that creates, develops and offers to wealthy families innovative asset solutions combined with foreground technology.
History
Amadeus was born a Family Finlab ahead of its time, entirely dedicated to its founders’ families.
In 1983 and after several decades spent on capital markets, a small group of investors led by Uwe Brockmann created in Geneva a company aiming at servicing their needs in the field of investments and wealth engineering. Over 15 years, this would remain Amadeus’ main focus.
In the very early 2000s, further to family events, Tim Brockmann turns his back to his past as a Lawyer and his banking activities to replace his father at the helm of Amadeus. The company then engages affirmatively in creating niche investment strategies and developing technological solutions previously reserved for banking institutions.
In 2005 Tim meets Laurent Timonier. Together they decided to establish a strategic partnership between Amadeus and Nucleo Capital, the company recently created by Laurent to manage the assets of a handful of European and Swiss families, which had followed him all along an investment and private banking career started in 1986.
Amadeus and Nucleo merge in 2019 to reunite the interest of their family clients and to jointly offer their experience and solutions to other families who do not want to engage alone in the adventure of managing and administrating their family assets.
In 2023, after obtaining the FINMA license as an asset manager and manager of collective investment funds, Amadeus integrates the investment fund management activities of W Capital Gibraltar on the one hand and the Fintech activities of Amadeus Quantamental Luxembourg on the other. Thus, all the activities previously carried out by its former sister companies are now grouped under the umbrella of Amadeus Capital SA, Switzerland, so that it can now highlight its 5 main activities: Private Office, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Markets and Financial Technology.

Philanthropy
Among the causes dear to our hearts are those related to the health and longevity of humanity.
Affected by the illness in our families, we are committed to the Swiss Association for the Research on Alzheimer's, cocreated and presided by Tim Brockmann.
We actively assist the association in its constant financing quest. We are pleased that it already led, in 2018, to create the 'Memory Center' in collaboration with the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève (HUG). Since numerous projects have come alive and our dedication remains total.
The critical roles played by many of us -including even at times members of our own families- within the association allow us additionally to team up outside the strict circle of Amadeus.
